Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a PRN – Tele
Shift: Nights/ 7p-7:30a, 12×1, 12hrs per week, EOW
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- CA License
- 2+ years of TELE experience
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Must have recent Epic experience
- Skills Required: Cardiac Tele, Ms/Tele, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, BiPAP/CPAP management , Care of Ventilated Patient
- CPI, OCN, ONS/ONCC preferred
- Previous charge experience preferred
Others
- Must live within 50 mile radius
- Medication System: Omnicell
- 1:4 Patient Ratio Experience Required
- It is highly preferred that the clinician can work at least 2 days per week
- Floating Required: Med Surg / DOU; will also work on Respiratory and Stroke unit
TELE RN’s are needed for per diem
Requirements
– 2+ years of TELE experience
– ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
-1:4 Patient Ratio Experience Required
– 2 Supervisor References from a work assignment within the last year (Department Manager, Supervisor, Charge Nurse, Nurse Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager)
– Covid Vaccination Required** (No Medical or Religious Exemptions accepted)
-Candidates with more than 1 pipeline will be redirected.
-Must have recent Epic experience
-Floating Required: Med Surg / DOU; will also work on Respiratory and Stroke unit
-Weekend Coverage (Every Other)
-Skills Required: Cardiac Tele, Ms/Tele, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, BiPAP/CPAP management , Care of Ventilated Patien
Preferred
-CPI, OCN, ONS/ONCC
– It is highly preferred that the clinician can work at least 2 days per week

Orientation Details
12 hr orientation (Day Shift 7a-7p, Scheduled during the week M-F)
Clinicians will complete an Epic Test Out remotely along with required modules if Epic test out is failed.
· Clinicians will complete 12-14 hours of pre-start modules

-Scrub Color – Navy

-1 year separation policy from UCI Health
– Flu declinations accepted – required to wear mask at all times if no flu vaccination on file during flu season
