- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years preferred; will consider 1+ year nurses on a case-by-case basis; VMS notes list 3 years 2. Cases: Adult and geriatric patients with medical and surgical illnesses requiring acute care; patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring, oxygen saturation via remote telemetry, peritoneal dialysis, or hemodialysis; COVID/PUI Unit 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS required; must be on hand at submission 4. License: Pending license accepted; must obtain license before starting 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic; recent Epic experience preferred but not required to submit 7. Shifts/Call: One of the following required — 2 on-call shifts per 6 weeks OR 2 additional shifts per 6 weeks; weekend coverage required as needed; float to 3rd or 4th floor med/surg tele units required; scheduling type listed as Other 8.
