Cases: Mainly respiratory and cardiac, but varies greatly; telemetry unit; excludes patients on ventilators and blood pressure support drips 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required 4. Shifts/Call: Rotating shifts; anticipate 3 weeks of days and 3 weeks of nights in a 6-week schedule, dependent on unit needs; float required; every other weekend required; patient ratios — Days: 5, Nights: 6 8.
