- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission; acute care experience must be current/today and working consistently in the last 12 months in the specialty applying for 2. Cases: Solid tumor cancers including Breast, Lung, Prostate, Pancreatic, Colon, Esophageal Cancer, and antineoplastic chemotherapy; full spectrum from new diagnosis through end of life care 3. Certifications: BLS required; ONS Chemo preferred; must have telemetry interpretation and telemetry monitoring skills 4. License: Not specified 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: Days and Nights only; staffing ratio goal 1:4, can be 1:5; floating required to other MedSurg Oncology units; weekends variable based on unit needs; no set/blocked scheduling; 72 orientation hours 8.
