Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience required; acute care experience must be current/within the last 12 months and in the specialty applied for — HARD STOP, do not pass without meeting this requirement 2. Cases: Oncology experience preferred but not required; common diagnoses include breast, lung, prostate, pancreatic, colon, and esophageal cancers, sickle cell crises, and antineoplastic chemotherapy encounters 3. Required skills include interpretation of dysrhythmias, accessing ports, arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care/management, PICC line management, IV start, assist with chest tube insertion/removal, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), and interpretation of ABGs.
