- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2+ years of RN experience required; previous experience caring for Neurology/Stroke patients in acute care setting required 2. Cases: Neurology/Stroke patients required; unit is MedSurg Neuro & Stroke 3. Certifications: BLS and ACLS (both American Heart Association); NIHSS required; copies must be in hand at submission 4. License: Active Virginia or Compact RN license IN HAND required; no exceptions; current NURSYS report required at submission; driver's license required for address verification prior to offer acceptance 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic proficiency required; no exceptions 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 or 4x12 schedule options; overtime paid after 48 hours for 4x12; every other weekend, floating, and holidays within the contract required; travelers must work two of the three winter holidays; candidate's preferred schedule must be indicated at submission 8. RTO: All requested time off must be listed on the Qualivis Cover Sheet at submission 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10.
