- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required for submission 2. Cases: Respiratory, Endocrine, Cardiac, Immune/Infectious Disease, and Renal disease processes; patient diagnoses include respiratory illnesses, renal illnesses, diabetes, sepsis, cellulitis, infections, heart failure, sickle cell, and cystic fibrosis 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred but not required; must be on hand at submission 4. License: VA license accepted as pending at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Days; can offer 36 or 48 hours; every other weekend required; block scheduling cannot be accommodated; patient ratios — Days: 4, Nights: 5, Weekends: 5; orientation hours: 24 8.
