- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; Neurology experience and MS/Tele experience required; Charge experience preferred; Trauma Level I and II preferred 2. Cases: Neurology-related diagnoses including CVA, Epilepsy, Ischemic Stroke, Radiculopathy, Cervical Stenosis, Seizures, Rhabdomyolysis, S/P Laminectomy, S/P ACDF, S/P Craniotomy, ETOH withdrawal, Medical Surgical with and without Telemetry 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required; TCRN and 16-hour Maryland Approved Trauma Cert required by week 27; Basic EKG testing required and provided by agency through Prophecy Relias and must be completed before Orientation; 8 stroke CEUs annually required 4. License: Not specified 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 36 hours per week guaranteed; every other weekend and holiday; float required to MS and MS Tele units; can and will be pulled to other units to support hospital needs; longer contracts possible; patient ratio 5:1 days, nights, and weekends; orientation is 40 hours 8.
