Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years required; first timers accepted 2. Cases: CHF, MI/Chest pain (pre- and post-cath), Dysrhythmias (pre- and post-device implants), Hypo-/Hypertension, Pleural effusion, Sepsis, PE/DVT/vascular issues 3. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; NIH preferred 4. License: GA or Compact license required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend required; no call requirements; patient ratio 1:4-5 all shifts 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days per contract; all RTO must be finalized at submission; no holiday RTO if 1-2 holidays fall during assignment, 1 holiday RTO may be considered if 3 holidays fall during assignment; RTO blackout dates Spring Break (April 4th-12th) 9. Returning Staff: Internal staff must be away from all Piedmont facilities for 1 full year before applying as traveler; return travelers who cancel or receive DNR must complete one assignment outside Piedmont before reapplying 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable, completed during orientation, vary by specialty, recorded via transcripts, hours factored in NBO 13. Travel Experience: Not required 14. Scrubs: Navy Blue 15.
