Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required; 1st timers accepted 2. Cases: Telemetry unit with CHF, MI/Chest pain (pre- and post-cath), Dysrhythmias (pre- and post-device implants), Hypo-/Hypertension, Pleural effusion, Sepsis, PE/DVT/vascular issues 3. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; NIHSS preferred 4. License: GA or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: No call requirements; every other weekend; floating required within facility/scope of practice 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days; Spring Break blackout dates (April 4th-12th); Holiday RTO policy varies by number of holidays in assignment period 9. Returning Staff: Must be away for 1 full year from all Piedmont facilities to return as traveler; if deemed unable to return to one facility, must complete one successful assignment outside of Piedmont prior to rebooking at new location 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable, completed during orientation, vary by specialty, recorded via transcripts, hours factored in NBO 13. Travel Experience: Not required 14. Scrubs: Navy Blue 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16.
