- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience on the cardiac floor required 2. Cases: Atrial Fibrillation, CHF, ACS, CAD, Aortic stenosis/regurgitation, Mitral Regurgitation/Stenosis, Endocarditis, Cardiomyopathy, PVD, PAD, Vasculitis, Carotid stenosis, Venous stasis, Sheath management/removal; Procedures include CABG, AVR, MVR, TAVR, Mitral Clip, LAAO (Watchman), VATS, Carotid endarterectomy, FEM-POP bypass, Amputations, Cardiac/Thoracic surgeries, Post cath, Post DCCV, Post electrophysiology, Pacemaker placements 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required; must be in hand at submission; must pass EKG testing prior to start 4. License: Not specified 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic preferred; Pyxis and SBAR also used on unit 7. Shifts/Call: Nights, 36 hours only; 13-26 weeks accepted; 4 weekend shifts per 4 weeks (flexible); float follows unit rotation, not first to float; contract staff may be required to work Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team during catastrophic events 8. RTO: RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite; call offs or additional RTO could result in cancellation and DNR; one pre-approved time off noted 9.
