Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of recent experience within the last 7 years required 2. Cases: ED boarder patients with varying diagnoses while boarding in ED awaiting bed placement 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; must pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms 4. License: DC RN License required; pending DC license accepted with proof at submission and license in hand prior to start date 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 nights; every other weekend required; float required within units of equivalent or lower acuity; patient ratio 1:4-5 8. RTO: No RTO permitted during first two weeks; no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; must be included at time of submittal 9. Returning Staff: Previous MedStar employees must be separated minimum one year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 60-mile radius; locals accepted at lower rate; address must match driver's license 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Sitel modules must be completed within one week of signing; billable up to 4 hours, average 12 hours; completed pre-start and during orientation 13. Travel Experience: Must complete minimum 1 travel assignment 14. Scrubs: Any color 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - no exemptions 16.
