- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 18 months tele/acute care experience required; 2 years preferred. PCU experience required. Vasoactive drip experience required. 2. Cases: Telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, blood product administration, central line care/management, cardiac drip management (no titration), non-invasive airway management, isolation precautions/PPE. 3. Certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS required at time of submittal; NIHSS must be obtained prior to start. No pending certs accepted. 4. License: No license hits accepted. Pending license not accepted. 5. Education: Not specified. 6. EMR: Epic required; charting system experience required. 7. Shifts/Call: 26-week contract, not flexible. Guaranteed 36 hrs for 3x12s or 40 hrs for 8/10s. No block schedule. Will float to all 3 hospitals (Martin North, South, Tradition — within 20 miles). 8. RTO: All RTO must be included at time of submission only. Any RTO added later will likely not be approved. Facility will not review RTO submitted after submission. 9. Returning Staff: Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date. 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate. Float within 20 miles across 3 hospital campuses. 11. Background: Facility does not accept any license hits. Smoke-free facility — all travelers must be nicotine free, no exceptions. Negative 10-panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start. 12. Modules: Non-billable; average 6-15 hours; completed pre-start and annually; vary by specialty; recorded via SilkRoad. Time-sensitive — must be prioritized immediately upon confirmation. EKG and Pharm test required during orientation; 2 attempts max each; no remediation for re-test; traveler will be cancelled if they fail. Study materials provided with FDI. 13. Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted. 14. Scrubs: White. 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required — medical/religious exemptions only. 16. Special Equipment: Not specified. Critical: COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only). 2 references from a direct supervisor/manager, ANM, or director required. Compliance documents due Monday prior to start. Facility has a strict do-not-call policy.
