- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required; first-time travelers accepted 2. Cases: CHF, COPD, colorectal, GI bleeds/SBO, COVID, pneumonia, cystic fibrosis; bariatric surgery, hepatobiliary surgeries, colorectal surgeries; mixed unit PCU, Med Surg Tele, and Med Surg 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required; must be in hand at submission 4. License: Pending license not accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: No on-call required; 1:4 ratio all shifts; weekends required every other; night shift weekend coverage is Friday and Saturday evenings; schedules subject to change with two-week notice from facility; block scheduling not available 8. RTO: Greater than 7 days requires management approval 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: No local travelers within 50 miles or less 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Orientation is 12 hours 13. Float units include Neuro/Stroke, Cardiac, Orthopedic, Trauma, Oncology, General Surgery, Uro/Vascular, and Observation. Previous charge experience preferred.
