Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 1 year required; first-timers not accepted 2. Cases: Telemetry, Neuro Stepdown, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown; cardiac, neurological, orthopedic, respiratory, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and surgical case experience required as detailed in special requirements 3. Certifications: BLS and NIHSS required; ACLS preferred; certifications must be in hand at submission 4. License: Active IL license required; pending license not accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner preferred; Cerner is the charting system used 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 Days (0645-1915); no on-call required; will float as needed; every other weekend required; block schedule open to discussion with manager 8. RTO: Ideally no more than 5 days; guaranteed hours clause applies — client may call off up to 36 hours per 13-week assignment without pay; excess cancellations are billed 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted; no radius requirement 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Orientation is 24 hours; parking permit required at no cost, form completed during orientation 13. Travel Experience: Required 14. Scrubs: Any solid color 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required — Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: Must be able to manage tracheostomies with ventilators Critical: Patient ratio is 1:4 with a free charge.
