- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year of experience within the last 3 years in MS/Tele/PCU required; first-timers not accepted 2. Cases: Acute and Chronic Respiratory Failure, Sepsis, Acute and Chronic Kidney Failure, Metabolic Encephalopathy, Diabetic Ketoacidosis, A-Fib, Heart Failure, GI Bleed, Non-ST Elevation Myocardial Infarct, Unstable Angina, Drug Ingestion/Overdose; IMCU serves as overflow for CVCU including post ablations, post pacers, post angios 3. Certifications: BLS required (must be AHA); ACLS preferred; Tele experience mandatory; IV start, telemetry, management of dysrhythmias, cardiac drip experience (nitro, Cardizem, amiodarone, Nicardipine, other IMCU LOC gtts) required; conscious sedation, vents preferred; sheath removal preferred but not required 4. License: Not specified beyond state context; pending license accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: 12-hour days, 0700-1930; 13-week contract; every other weekend required (not guaranteed); float within scope including to West Valley Hospital if needed; guaranteed 36 hours per week; client may cancel 1 shift per 4-week period, 2 per 8-week, 3 per 13-week 8.
