Cases: High acuity step-down from ICU; patient diagnoses include acute medical care, CVA, TBI, spinal cord injury, post cardiac/neuro surgery, renal failure, seizure disorders, ortho trauma, substance withdrawal, total joint replacement 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; must be AHA or American Red Cross (verify at submission) 4. License: Pending license accepted; state license required (CO noted in notes) 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required; charting system experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Days; 3x12s; 36 guaranteed hours; no on-call required; weekend requirement is every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday for days; Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday for nights depending on rotation); no block schedule accommodation 8. RN must be able to troubleshoot vent alarms. These are non-negotiable for this unit. Patient ratios are 1:3 for days, nights, and weekends. First-time travelers are NOT accepted.
