- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required 2. Cases: Joint Replacements, Fractures, Post-Op Neurosurgery, Stroke/TIA, Seizures, AMS, Falls, Weakness, Pain, Post-Op Infection, Med-Surg (COPD, Pneumonia, Cellulitis, Abscess, Osteomyelitis) 3. Certifications: RN State License and/or Compact State Licensure, BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS required; pending license acceptable at submission but must be active and in-hand prior to start 4. License: RN State License and/or Compact State Licensure required; pending license considered at submission 5. Education: BSN preferred 6. EMR: Epic experience required (Hard Stop); charting system experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 Days, 0700-1900; block scheduling; patient ratio 5:1 days, nights, and weekends; float to units of similar or lower acuity may be required 8. RTO: Must be included at time of submission 9. Returning Staff: Previous employees must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius rule applies; traveler's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from facility; local candidates accepted at a reduced rate 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable; up to 4 hours factored into NBO; completed during orientation; recorded through MyPath 13. Travel Experience: Previous travel experience preferred 14. Scrubs: Not specified 15.
