Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Stroke/Neuro PCU 48’s
Length: 13 weeks
Weekend requirement: every other weekend, or 6 weekend
Requirements:
- VA/compact license
- 1 year
experience - Neuro PCU
experience required - BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- Epic charting
experience Experience at a 250+ bed facility preferred- Cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, cardiac drips (no titration), central/peripheral line care, non-invasive airway management
- 2 years
experience preferred - First-time travelers accepted; at least 1 prior travel assignment preferred
Other Details:
- EMR: Epic
- Floating: occasional float to another PCU or MS level-of-care unit, within skillset
- Patient types: Adults, Geriatrics
- 25-bed telemetry PCU/stepdown for stroke and neuro population, plus general medicine overflow; Joint Commission certified primary stroke center
- Ratios: typically 1:5; staffing goal 1:4
- Locals accepted (radius rules apply)
