- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required for submission; Charge experience preferred; Trauma Level I experience preferred 2. Cases: Pulmonary/GI primary; PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown settings; cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management; respiratory support; no vents on unit 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; must be AHA or American Red Cross (standard requirement) 4. License: Active Virginia State or Compact RN license required; pending license accepted only if candidate holds a single-state license from a non-compact state 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s, 6:45p-7:15a nights; EOW or 6 weekend shifts per 6-week scheduling block; facility may call off 1 shift per 2-week period; must work one holiday per 13-week contract; floating required within skillset to another PCU or MS unit 8.
