Certifications: ACLS, BLS required; CPI, NIHSS, Trauma preferred 4. License: Active Virginia State or Compact RN license required; pending license accepted only if candidate holds single-state license from non-compact state 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 4x12s, 645p-715a; may work EOW or 6 weekend shifts in 6-week block; must work 1 holiday per 13-week contract (2 holidays for winter: Thanksgiving, Christmas/Christmas Eve, NYE/New Years) 8. RTO: All requests must be included with submission; facility can call off 1 shift per 2 weeks 9. Returning Staff: Previous employees must be gone minimum one year before returning as traveler; after working 365 days on assignment, cannot return despite separation period (effective July 1, 2025) 10. Travel/Local: Local candidates within 100 miles not accepted; 50-99.9 miles may be considered for one 13-week assignment with no extension; under 50 miles may be considered at lower bill rate for one assignment with no extension 11.
