- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 to 2 years required; first-time travelers accepted 2. Cases: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, Neuro Stepdown; patient diagnoses include Sepsis, wound care, ETOH, SI, Renal Failure, AFIB, GIB, Stroke, COVID; Pre/Post Cardiac Cath preferred 3. Certifications: BLS and NIHSS required; ACLS preferred; all certifications must be in hand 4. License: Missouri or Compact RN License required; pending license not accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic 7. Shifts/Call: No on-call required; no block schedule; float pool position — will float between roughly 5 Med/Surg Intermediate/PCU units and other Metro campuses; 8 weekend shifts per 6-week period (combination of Friday/Saturday/Sunday); holiday shifts and Charge RN assignments as needed; guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks 8. RTO: No more than 7 days; only one pre-approved time off noted 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Locals not accepted; home address must be at least 75 miles from facility 11.
