Experience: 2 years required; must have 2 years in a large, urban hospital; first-timers not accepted unless experience is from a Level I Academic Medical Center; previous travel experience required 2. Cases: Traumas, surgery, transplants, lung disorders, ventilated patients; drips required on all floors 3. Certifications: Active AHA BLS and ACLS required; CCRN and NIHSS strongly preferred; copies must be in hand at time of submission 4. License: Pending license accepted, but if not in hand at time of submission, traveler will be booked six weeks out 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 36 or 48-hour weekly option; 12-hour shifts; ratios 1:3-4 days and nights; float required — notified 3 hours prior to shift start by call or text; travelers are first to float and must be prepared to float frequently; float units may include 4CS, 5 West, 6 Neuro, 4/5 Lied, 6/7 Lied, 7 HVU, 8 Werner, 9 Trauma, Bellevue MS, Observation, SOTU 8. RTO: Up to two weeks of RTO permitted; must be submitted with application; additional requests after confirmation at manager discretion; travelers must work 2 out of 3 major holidays — must submit holiday availability with application; 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in a 4-week period 9.
