- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; must have strong PCU background within the last year. ED experience preferred, not required. First-timers accepted with EPIC experience and 2 years experience; no first-timers accepted with only 1 year exp. 2. Cases: Chest Pain, Syncope, Heart Failure, Sepsis, Overdose, GI Bleed, COPD, Pneumonia, Medical/Surgical/Trauma/Oncology/Orthopedic overflow, S/p Cath w/stent only (no CABG), ICD/Pacer insertions, Cardioversions 3. Certifications: ACLS, BCLS (BLS) required; CPI noted; EKG test on arrival required. Must be able to manage/titrate drips (Lasix, Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitroglycerin, Integrillin, Labatolol, Dopamine, Dobutamine) — REQUIRED 4. License: Not specified 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC experience required for first-time travelers 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend (EOW) required. Floating expected — Helping Hands/Team Nursing approach; may float to similar units and patient sitting. Will not take patients outside clinical assignment or team. 8.
