Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required with strong PCU background within the last year 2. Cases: PCU - Cardiac, chest pain, syncope, heart failure, sepsis, overdose, GI bleed, COPD, pneumonia; medical, surgical, trauma, oncology, orthopedic overflow; s/p cath with stent, ICD/pacer insertions, cardioversions 3. Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, EKG test on arrival; only AHA and Red Cross certs accepted; copies required 4. License: Valid NH state license required; pending license accepted; license hits need facility approval prior to offer 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 1:4 ratio days, 1:5 ratio nights; every other weekend required; call not required; float to similar units required 8. RTO: If contracted during all 3 major winter holidays, must work at least 2/3 holidays; include RTO requests upon submission 9. Returning Staff: Former staff not accepted for any travel roles regardless of time separated 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius; locals accepted at $15 rate decrease 11. Background: Background hits need facility approval prior to offer 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: First-timers accepted with EPIC experience and 2 years experience; no first timers with only 1 year experience 14. Scrubs: Any color 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Bipap, Cpap, Vapotherm, Alaris Pumps, Phillips Monitoring System Critical: Drug screen required within 14 days of start. References required. 24-hour orientation. Must manage/titrate cardiac drips.
