- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: Intermediate medical patients and surgery overflow including TURPS, lap chol, lap appy, lap hernia, eye surgery, oral surgery, diabetic teaching, and wound care; ER and OR throughput 3. Certifications: BLS and NIHSS required; must be AHA or American Red Cross 4. License: Pending license not accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: No on-call required; ratios 1:5 (may flex to 1:6 on rare occasions); 8 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period (Friday/Saturday/Sunday combination); holiday shifts and Charge RN assignments as needed; no block scheduling; regular floating between departments, units, and facilities may be required 8.
