- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; strong ventilator experience required 2. Cases: Pulmonary Stepdown, Intermediate Care, ventilated trach patients, COPD, pulmonary patients, Airvo, BiPAP pulmonary valve placement, CPAP, respiratory therapy high acuity patients; special procedures include endobronchial valves and ventilators 3. Certifications: BLS and NIHSS required; must be AHA or American Red Cross (verify at submission) 4. License: Pending license not accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic; experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: No on-call required; 8 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule (combination of Friday/Saturday/Sunday); floating within scope between departments, units, and facilities may be regularly required; block scheduling not accommodated; patient ratio 1:4 (may flex to 1:6 on rare occasions) 8. RTO: No more than 7 days; guaranteed hours are 3 shifts per 13 weeks (cancelled shifts must match regular shift length) 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10.
