- Unit Notes:OSF ITEMS OF NOTE: - Local Rate: Applies to clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles (-$25 to regular and OT bill rates) - OSF Call Off Policy: Equivalent of 12 hours every 13 weeks with no penalty or need to pay for the shift - Non-billable Orientation Hours: 12 hours, guaranteed hours will not apply during orientation REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMISSION: - Last four (4) digits of clinician's SSN - Clinician's middle initial - Requested time off - Active IL license or confirmation that application process has been initiated - Your candidate understands OSF is a Drug-Free Campus and they must produce a negative drug screen for all panels Department: Tele Intermediate # beds: 26 Certs: BLS, ACLS, RN- IL Ratios: 1:4 or 1:5 EMR: EPIC Charge Nurse: Charge take patients Nurse Aides: Techs 1:9 Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Friday,Sat, Sunday Call Requirement: No Holidays: Every other holiday Scrub Color: No scrub color, may wear own scrubs- not provided by hospital Tele: Central tele monitor tech. Cardizem, Lasix, renal dopamine, nitro Vents: No vents, Bipap and Cpap and HF/ Vapotherm Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Hospitalist 7a-5p then APN inhouse with e-hospitalist IV Team: No RT 24/7: Yes Pharmacy 24/7: 24/7 pharmacy support. Nursing does not mix meds Shifts: 7-7:30 12 hr shifts. No block scheduling but will try to accommodate night shifts in a row Floating: Travelers expected to float, will take the same ratio on their assigned unit of 1:5 Floor specific orientation: 1 shift hospital orientation, 2 shifts unit orientation, one day shift and one night shift Common diagnosis / Types of patients: CHF, COVID pneumonia, Afib with RVR, tachy/ brady syndrome, syncope Notes entered: 8.1.25 Cancellation Policy:12 hours per 13 weeks Charting System:EPIC BSN Required:False License to Submit:Yes Trauma Level:2 Care Setting:Acute Division:Nursing Shift Notes:12hr Nights Required Certifications:ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
