Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – PCU/Surg/Neuro/Ortho P5 – Meth

Shift: Days / 7a-7p, 12×3, 36 hrs/week, Fri, Sat, Sun. Holiday Rotation. No Call
Length: 13 weeks

Weekend Requirements: as scheduled

Requirements:

• IA/Compact license
• 2 Years of Medical Surgical, IMCU, Stepdown, or Progressive Care experience in a hospital or medical center setting
• 2 years of current Medical Surgical, IMCU, Stepdown, or Progressive Care experience
• Neurology/neurosurgery care experience
• Ortho/orthopedic care experience
• Drip Experience: Heparin, PCA, 3% Sodium/Na
• EKG / Strip reading & measuring / telemetry experience
• EPIC emr/electronic medical experience
• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
• Trauma level I experience highly preferred
• Trauma care experience highly preferred
• Specialty Equipment: telemetry, left equipment, chest tubes, airvo highly preferred
• De-escalation certificate preferred – CPI, MOAB, MAB or SAMA accepted
• NIHSS preferred 

Other Details:

• No 1st time travelers, must have completed at least one travel assignment in previous 12 mos
• EMR: EPIC
• Bed Size: 25 bed
• Patient Types: heavy neuro trauma, neurosurgery, craniectomy, ortho
• RN Ratios: 1:5 – 6
• Drips:  Heparin, PCA’s, 3% Na, no titration
• Specialty Equipment: telemetry, left equipment, chest tubes, airvo
• Scrubs:  Navy Blue
