Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – PCU – Surg/Neuro/Ortho P5- Meth 36’s

Shift: Nights, 7p-7a, 12×3, 36hrs per week, can do 48’s  

Length: 13 weeks

Holiday Rotation
No Call
Every 3rd weekend

Requirements:

• IA / Compact License
• 2 years of Medical Surgical, IMCU, Stepdown, or Progressive Care experience in a hospital or medical center setting required
• Neurology/neurosurgery care experience required
• Ortho/orthopedic care experience required
• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
• NIHSS
• EPIC emr/electronic medical experience required
• Drip Experience: Heparin, PCA, 3% Sodium/Na required
• EKG / Strip reading & measuring / telemetry experience required
• Trauma care experience highly preferred
• Specialty Equipment: telemetry, left equipment, chest tubes, airvo highly preferred
• De-escalation certificate preferred
• Trauma level I experience highly preferred
• CPI, MOAB, MAB or SAMA accepted

Other Details:

• EMR: EPIC
• Will be required to float across all campuses
• No 1st time travelers, must have completed at least one travel assignment in previous 12 mos
• Local Radius rule:  50 miles
• Bed Size: 25 bed
• Patient Types: heavy neuro trauma, neurosurgery, craniectomy, ortho
• RN Ratios: 1:5 – 6
• Drips:  Heparin, PCA’s, 3% Na, no titration
• Scrubs:  Navy Blue
• Specialty Equipment: telemetry, left equipment, chest tubes, airvo
