Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Progressive Care Unit

Shift: Days, 7a-7p, 12×3, 36hrs per week, No Call, every 4th weekend, Holiday rotation
Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• IA/Compact license
• 2 Years minimum of experience in Telemetry/Cardiac, Stepdown, or Progressive Care experience
• Experience with the following patient populations: ICD (implantable cardioverter-defibrillator) & Pacemaker [required]
• Experience caring for CABG (coronary arterial bypass grafting) & vascular surgical patients [required[
• Cardiac Rhythm experience
• EPIC emr experience 
• Equipment experience: Alaris IV pump, wound vac
• Cardiac Drip/titration experience 
• Level II trauma experience
• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
• Level I Trauma experience highly preferred

Other Details:

• EMR: EPIC
• No 1st time travelers accepted — must have completed at least ‘1’ travel contract within the previous 18 months
• Required to float to all campuses; IMMC, ILH, MWH within pertinent skillset/Unit they are contracted for
• Patient Types: CABG, ICD, Pacemaker, cardiac drips, vascular surgicals
• Patient Ratios: Days: 1:4, Nights: 1:6
• Bed Size: 24
• Drips: Nitro, cardene, Heparin, Dilt, Dopamine, etc…
• Tele tech unit monitoring: yes
• Scrubs:  Navy blue, solids
• Local Radius rule:  50 miles
