- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1.5 years required for submission; must have SD/PCU experience (ICU experience does not count toward SD/PCU experience at this facility); must have vent experience; 1:5 ratio experience must be documented in the Work History section of the application 2. Cases: Neuroscience/High-Risk Respiratory intermediate care; patient population includes CVA, TIA, seizures, brain tumors, complex spinal surgeries, neuro disease processes; mixed acuity med-surge/intermediate care 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required; must pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting; IV Start preferred; must be listed on application (copies not separately required if listed) 4. License: Current Nursys report required at time of submittal 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Must work minimum every other holiday; must be available every other weekend; traveler is first to float at Premier's discretion; float in/out of specialty clusters including high-risk respiratory/COVID unit; if assigned to MVH, floating includes main campus (Dayton), south campus (Centerville, less than 10 miles), and north campus (Englewood, less than 15 miles); Premier Health reserves the right to cancel 2 shifts per 13-week contract due to low census; Premier Health reserves the right to cancel agreement with 2 weeks' notice without fee or fine; OT paid after 48 hours on 48-hour contracts 8.
