- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1.5 years required, 2 years preferred; must show 1:5 ratio experience in SD or PCU on application 2. Cases: Heart failure, chest pain rule out, NSTEMI, post-procedure patients, COPD exacerbation, drug/ETOH overdose and withdrawal, atrial fib/flutter, arrhythmias, sepsis 3. Certifications: BLS and NIH required, ACLS preferred; must be able to read and interpret strips; must pass online EKG tele competency assessment before starting 4. License: Any state RN license accepted; can apply for temp license on offer (5-10 days); compact license accepted; facility does not accept any past license action 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Must be available every other weekend/holiday; traveler will be first to float; Premier reserves right to cancel 2 shifts per 13-week contract due to low census 8. RTO: Request with initial submittal only; no RTO added after offer; maximum 14 days allowed; manager's discretion for approval 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius for nursing; locals not accepted 11. Background: Not specified 12. Must have SD/PCU experience (ICU does not count). Nurses fitted for N95 prior to working unless PAPR offered. 48-hour contract with OT after 48 hours.
