- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required; acute care experience must be current/today and working consistently in the last 12 months in the specialty applied for 2. Cases: Primarily acute leukemia patients (newly diagnosed); heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls prevention; high volume of blood products, IV antibiotics, and electrolytes 3. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; NIHSS required; ONS Chemo Cert preferred; must be AHA or American Red Cross (standard policy); No Chemo Certification required for this role 4. License: Not specified 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: 12-hour days/nights rotating or 12 nights; if accepting a rotating contract, may be scheduled days, nights, or a combination based on department needs; shift assignments reviewed every 4-week scheduling period; float required to other MedSurg Oncology units 8.
