- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; Neuro experience requested (if limited, must screen and call out) 2. Cases: Intermediate population sub-specialized with neurological population and medical intermediate patients 3. Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH required; CCRN, TNCC, CPI preferred; must pass EKG testing prior to start 4. License: NC or Compact license (pending OK for submittal) 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: 12-hour nights 18:45-07:15; 36 and 48-hour shifts offered; floating required to other intermediate areas and critical care 8. RTO: Up to 7 days auto-approved (no holidays); must work 2 of 3 major holidays; no RTO during first week; all RTO must be pre-approved; cannot request additional RTO after signing 9. Returning Staff: Former Novant/New Hanover employees must wait 12 months before applying; disclosure required with hospital name/dates employed at submission 10. Travel/Local: Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at lower rate; unit will accept first-time travelers 11. Background: Not specified 12.
