- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years preferred; 2 years will be considered/reviewed by manager; first-time travelers accepted 2. Cases: Cardiac, Respiratory, DKA; special procedures include Precedex drips, insulin drips, Hi-Flow Oxygen/BiPAP, chest tubes, TCAR/Post cardiac cath patients 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS required; BLS/ACLS must be AHA ONLY; CPI must be Calm Every Storm online version (only acceptable online vendor) 4. License: Active MD RN or Compact License required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required (Charting System Experience required) 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 Days (07:00-19:30); every other weekend required; holidays required as scheduled; floating required within specialty and lower acuity; pre-scheduled on-call not required but may be placed on-call in low census situations 8. RTO: Max 7 days can be requested; if more than 4 consecutive days, an additional week must be added to the back end on new contracts; one major holiday off during winter season may be allowed 9.
