- Unit Notes:Department: LTC RN *Certifications Required: BLS* NO CLINICAL INVOLVEMENT - Type of Facility: Long Term Care - # of Beds/Residents: 26 bed - EMR: Matrix - Ratios: Nurses 1: 10 on day 1:19 nights, - Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Heart disease, diabetes, dementia - Job Duties: Nurse act as charge and pass meds and perform wound care. - Experience or 'Must have' skills: LTC experience - Are there IVs or titratable drips?: NO - Area there Tele monitors? If so do you have monitor techs on this unit? Do RN's read strips?: NONE - Are RNs required to attend team conferences for acute inpatient rehab?: NO - DON/Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: DON, no supervisors - Physician availability after hours: By phone on-call - Interdisciplinary Team: no rehab beds only LTC - PT/OT/SLP, Pulmonary or Cardiac Rehab, Case Managers, Social Workers, Dieticians?: PT as needed, Social worker designee - Is RT on-site 24/7?: NONE - Oxygen Therapy /Equipment (ie Cpap, Bipap, High Flow): Concentrators and portable concentrators - Pharmacy on-site? RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
