- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of RN experience required; 1 year in-specialty experience required; charge experience preferred 2. Cases: Cerebrovascular disease, traumatic brain injury, amputees, spinal cord injuries, deconditioning, neurological diseases; SCI, TBI, Stroke, Amputation, Neuromuscular DX, Severe Deconditioning related to cardiac or respiratory events 3. Certifications: BLS required; must be AHA; acute care rehab preferred 4. License: WV/Compact RN License required; can submit with pending license but must be active to start; Nursys pulled within 2 days of submission date; clean license required; hits submitted for case-by-case approval 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12hr Nights 7p-7a; weekdays, every other weekend; no call requirement; float within scope to Med Surg when required; 36hr or 48hr/week guarantee options; orientation held every other week on Thursday 8. RTO: No RTO restrictions; must include requests on application and discuss during interview 9. Returning Staff: Permanent employees cannot return to CAMC as a traveler for 2 years after last day worked as permanent staff 10. Travel/Local: 100-mile radius rule; 75-99 miles can be sent for facility approval 11. Background: Clean license required; hits submitted for case-by-case basis approval 12. Modules: Orientation is 16 hours; held every other week on Thursday 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required; first-timers accepted 14. Scrubs: Royal Blue/White or combination 15.
