- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; acute psych hospital experience required, BHS ED strongly preferred; previous charge experience required 2. Cases: Inpatient psych; required skills include anxiety disorders, assault/violence, bipolar disorders, depressive disorders, personality disorders, profound impulse control issues, psychotic disorders, schizophrenia-spectrum disorders, locked unit, crisis intervention, de-escalation, seclusion protocols, self-injurious behavior, suicidal behavior, emergent chemical restraints, physical hold protocols, managing assaultive behavior, voluntary/involuntary commitment 3. Certifications: BLS and CPI required; must be current and valid 4. License: CA RN License required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7.
