- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 0-20+ years accepted; previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility preferred, including chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients 2. Cases: Chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients preferred; experience in patient assessments, family motivations, treatment planning, and communication with external review organizations 3. Certifications: RN License, BLS (AHA required), Handle With Care (HWC - can be completed on site); CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) required within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact 4. License: Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing required 5. Education: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing or relevant state licensure required 6. EMR: Not specified 7.
