Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; charge nurse experience required; Level 1 & 2 nursery setting experience required 2. Cases: Level I well newborns post delivery, Level II newborns, stabilization and transfer of Level III babies, some readmits up to 28 days 3. Certifications: BLS, NRP required; STABLE highly preferred; must be AHA certified 4. License: SC or Multi State/Compact RN license required; must be in hand prior to start 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic charting system; experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 nights 7p-7a; no call required but could change based on unit needs; every other weekend required 8. RTO: All RTO must be included at time of submission; 7 days or less non-holiday RTO for auto offers; 7+ days and/or holidays require facility approval 9. Returning Staff: Previous permanent staff must be separated from MUSC system for 1 year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 60-mile radius; locals accepted case-by-case at 10% less posted bill rate; non-locals prioritized 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Average 4 hours; non-billable; included in NBO hours; completed pre-start 13. Travel Experience: Required 14. Scrubs: Royal blue 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical/religious exemptions only 16.
