- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2+ years of recent PICU or CVPICU experience required; some NICU/CICU experience strongly preferred; candidates with no NICU/CICU experience should be screened 2. Cases: PICU, NICU, CICU float pool position; must be comfortable floating between PICU, CVPICU, and NICU; strong PICU background required 3. Certifications: BLS and PALS required; must be AHA or American Red Cross (not explicitly stated in this VMS) 4. License: Pending license accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner required 7. Shifts/Call: EOW weekend requirement; open to blocked scheduling for weekends; no on-call required; guaranteed 48 hours; no OT until after 48 hours; ratios 1:1 or 1:2 in PICU/CVPICU, 1:3 if floating to NICU 8.
