- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required; must be in a high-capacity (minimum 15-bed), high-acuity PICU; tertiary level and teaching hospital strongly preferred 2. Cases: Conscious sedation, ICP, telemetry, vents, central line care required; preferred: Level 1 Trauma experience, S/P Bone Marrow Transplant; unit cares for critically ill neonates through adolescents with complex, life-threatening medical and surgical conditions including CRRT, ICH management, EVD management, BMT management, palliative care, pulmonary HTN, and BPD management 3. Certifications: CA RN License, AHA BLS, PALS required; CCRN preferred; copies must be in hand at time of submission 4. License: CA RN License required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: 12-hour day/night variable shift; ability to float to other UCSF facilities; travelers are first to float; minimum of 5 weekend shifts per contract; 48 orientation hours 8.
