- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission; first-time travelers accepted with 2+ years of PICU experience 2. Cases: CVICU and post-op heart experience required (HARD STOP); bedside procedures including central line placement, arterial line placement, lumbar puncture, intubations/extubations, CRRT initiation/discontinuation, ECMO cannulations/decannulations, chest exploration, and emergent operative procedures 3. Certifications: BLS and PALS required; NRP preferred; must be AHA or American Red Cross 4. License: Pending license accepted if application has been submitted and received by the licensing board 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 Nights; call not required; weekends required; float to NICU and Pediatric Units within hospital; no floating to sister hospitals; block schedule not accommodated unless posting states otherwise; self-scheduling; patient ratios 1:1 or 1:2 all shifts 8. RTO: All time off requests must be outlined at the time of submission; one pre-approved time off per contract 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted 11.
