- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; must be 2 years of PICU experience at a Level I Trauma Center. First-time travelers NOT accepted unless they have 3+ years of experience at a Level I Trauma Center PICU. 2. Cases: Mixed-acuity unit; PICU, PCU, and Acute care. Patient diagnoses not specified. 3. Certifications: BLS and PALS required; ACLS preferred; must be AHA or American Red Cross (not explicitly stated in notes). 4. License: Pending license accepted, but if not in hand at time of submission, traveler will be booked six weeks out. 5. Education: Not specified. 6. EMR: Epic charting experience required. 7. Shifts/Call: May be placed on call; notified 3 hours prior to shift start or by text.
