- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years PICU experience as staff nurse required; 1 year Pediatric CICU/CVICU experience required; 3-4 contracts in a dedicated pediatric CICU required; preferred 2 or more years of Pediatric CICU/CVICU experience 2. Cases: Experience with congenital heart disease (CHD) patients and post-operative CHD management required; arterial lines, central lines, and transthoracic lines management required; preferred neonatal cardiac experience (pre-op and post-op); preferred pediatric cardiac step-down or cardiology floor experience 3. Certifications: PALS, BLS, ACLS required 4. License: Not specified 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Meditech 7. Shifts/Call: Rotating weekends (Day shift: Saturday and Sunday; Night shift: Friday and Saturday); no call; Tuesday start dates; 2 charges per unit per shift (ICU and step-down), 1 PCT, RNs based on census and acuity 8.
