Certifications: BLS, PALS, Basic EKG required; must be AHA or American Red Cross (per standard); copies required at submission 4. License: Not specified 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner required; charting system experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Self-scheduling; 5 weekends out of every 6-week schedule (Saturday or Sunday); must complete at least 9 night shifts and 9 day shifts per 6-week period; facility will attempt to avoid flip-flopping shifts within the same week; patient ratios 2:1 days, nights, and weekends; orientation is 40 hours 8. Special Equipment: Vents, High Flow NC, BiPAP/CPAP Critical: Must be able to float to NICU and Peds (and Peds ED if needed). Skills required include PICU experience, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, central line/PICC line care, IV vasopressors, ICP monitoring, chest tube management, ventilated patient care, and ABG interpretation. Special procedures include moderate sedation, drips, arterial lines, and central lines.
