- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years pre/post cath lab required; may screen for less if traveler has sheath pull and cardiac med exp 2. Cases: Pre/post cath lab, EP, and radiology/IR procedures; cardiac cath patients, EP device cases and ablations, post biopsy and invasive radiology procedures; same-day discharges post PCI 3. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; Conscious Sedation experience preferred 4. License: Not specified 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required; Pyxis and SBAR also used 7. Shifts/Call: 4x9 rotating schedule (0600-1500, 0700-1600, 0800-1700, or 1200-2000); 48 hours guaranteed; no weekends; no on-call; no holidays; manager schedules; 13 or 26 week contracts accepted 8. RTO: 7 days max; two pre-approved time off noted 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted; rate difference applies; unit does NOT accept first-time travelers 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Not specified; orientation is 24 hours 13. Travel Experience: Required; first-time travelers not accepted 14. Scrubs: Any color scrubs 15. Charge Nurse experience preferred. Float required to cardiac units.
