Requirements

- Active California RN license required before start
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years required; Ambulatory/Outpatient exp, Pedi PACU exp, Phase I PACU exp, Phase II Recovery exp, Pre-Post exp with ability to float between required 2. Cases: Heavily ortho; also endocrine, GYN, pulmonary, plastics, ECT, ENT, and pain injection cases 3. Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS required; CPAN and CAPA preferred; copies must be AHA 4. License: CA RN License required 5. Education: BSN required 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: 8-hour days; float to other UCSF facilities required; float within PACU required; patient ratio days is 2:1 8. RTO: One pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Not specified 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Orientation is 8 hours 13. Travel Experience: Required 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16.
