- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; 2 years PACU in Level I Trauma required (hard stop); ICU/critical care required; first-time travelers accepted 2. Cases: Post cardiac surgery, lobectomy, chest trauma, ex-lap and splenectomy, and trauma patients required; surgical recovery includes Neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, orthopedics, thoracic, vascular, trauma, general, colorectal, GYN, urological, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and transplant; does NOT recover open heart surgeries or liver transplants 3. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; CCRN and TNCC preferred; must screen if missing required skills 4. License: Pending license accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: Night shift Friday/Saturday/Sunday 1900-0730; no call; no weekends, no holidays; float only to PACU or PreOp units; night shift nurses expected to pre-op patients for first cases from 0530-0730 when no PACU patients; no block scheduling 8. RTO: No more than 7 days 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Locals not accepted; home address must be at least 75 miles from facility 11. Background: Not specified 12.
